A procession will mark the beginning of the university’s 450th birthday celebrations on 7 February. Just like in 1575, academics, students and musicians will join the procession to Pieterskerk. Come and see for yourself!
In a topping out ceremony on Thursday 30 January, the new sports centre celebrated reaching its highest point and looked ahead to the future. The university will have a spacious and sustainable sports building by 2026.
Coming Friday on 7 February, we are celebrating the university’s 450th Dies Natalis, with the theme Ahead of the times. The ceremony starts at 14.30 and will be streamed live.
